Fridama has joined thousands of companies worldwide by adhering to the United Nations Global Compact and is committed to taking responsible business actions to create the world we want.
Signing the Global Compact implies that Fridama will align its operations with the Ten Principles universally accepted in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environment and the fight against corruption, and will adopt measures in support of the objectives of the United Nations embodied in the current Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Launched in 2000, the Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world. There are currently more than 13,000 member entities in more than 160 countries and it has more than 70 local networks.
In Spain, more than 1,530 organizations have already signed the Global Compact, which makes it the Local Network with the largest number of affiliated entities and, therefore, the most important in the world.
